Zeros+Ones: The Digital Era,
climate/gallery New York presents: Zeros+Ones: The Digital Era, A Digital Arts/New Media Exhibition. Open to all 2-D and video, sound, and interactive work.
This gala Digital Arts/New Media exhibition will be held at the gallery in New York, opening reception March 6 through March 21, 2010
National and international artists may submit work for exhibition. This is a non-juried exhibition in that all artists who submit via our website will be included in the exhibition. Featured Artist Awards. Full show catalogue.
Artists may submit: 2-D work submitted as digital files by email or on disc. Printed in gallery. Or as work sent to gallery. Video and sound submitted on disc. All digital work welcome including video, digital film, recorded sound, Photoshop plus-plus, vector drawing, virtual, apps, Iphone, games, interactive, digital painting, algorithmic, integrated synthesis, digital manipulation, ASCII, web comics, internet and more. Dedicated email for submissions supplied upon entry.
NOTE: photographic submissions must entail significant digital manipulation or in some way demonstrate visibly the use of digital methods of production. Otherwise, please watch for our next edition of our photography exhibition Focal_Resolution.
Internationally known New Media artist and curator Erik Sanner will select 10 Featured Artist Awards from Zeros+Ones. Mr. Sanner is a graduate of Antioch College and the Art Students League with significant video work done at Parsons School of Design in New York City. He sits on the steering committee of LISA (leaders in software & art) and is a Co-founder of APE (aesthetic purposes exploration). He has also, participated at Radio:On, Tokyo and dorkbot @ location one in New York City.
The gallery is dedicated to the presentation of contemporary visual art in thematic monthly group exhibitions providing opportunities for artists to show their work within a context of current international practice from varied ethnic and cultural contexts. All viewpoints and mediums are welcome. The gallery’s mission is to provide an opportunity for artists to become
exhibiting members in the arts community of New York City, whether they are showing for the first time or have years of exhibition experience.
