The Young Travel Photographers Competition Is Now Open!

Kids, are you ready to get ‘snap happy’ this summer holiday? The 2016 Young Travel Photographers Competition is now open and is perfect for getting young explorers excited about their next family holiday.

Created and organised by the Family Travel Show, and in partnership with CEWE Photobook and Canon, this exciting photography competition has one simple aim – to celebrate the skill of young travel photographers as they capture their adventures while exploring the world with their family.

Younger photographers may enjoy snapping animal selfies or capturing fun with new found friends, whilst teens might focus on colourful landscapes or striking architecture. Whatever the subject matter we look forward to seeing a variety of fascinating images of the world through children’s eyes.

There are two age categories, 11 years old & under and 12-17 years old, and the winner of each category will win an amazing prize courtesy of our partners CEWE Photobook and Canon, plus our feature partner Sharp Shots:

Winners:
• £150 voucher for CEWE PHOTOBOOK
• A 40 x 60cm acrylic CEWE print of their winning image
• A Canon EOS M10 camera
• A Canon PIXMA iP8750 home printer
• Plus Sharp Shots have provided the 11 years old & under winner with a Sharp Shots Birthday Party for 10 children, and the 12-17 years old winner with the choice of 3 hours private tuition or a place on Duke of Edinburgh course.

Two runners-up for each category will also receive:
• £50 voucher for CEWE PHOTOBOOK
• A 40 x 60cm acrylic CEWE print of their winning image
• Plus Sharp Shots have provided the 11 years old & under runners-up with a place on a Sharp Shots holiday course, and two 12-17 years old runners-up with a £50 course voucher.

Winning images and further selected images will also feature in the Young Travel Photographers Exhibition at the Family Travel Show, Olympia London on 1st October – 2nd October 2016.
