Where the Leaves Fall is an independent magazine exploring humankind’s connection with nature. Each issue explores three themes with a photography competition around one of these themes. The chosen theme for our third competition is ‘pandemic’.

The brief is open for photographers to submit up to ten high resolution photographs on this theme – either a single photo or a sequence of photographs. Although we invite an open interpretation of ‘pandemic,’ it is important the photographs demonstrate an interaction between humankind and nature, and a respectful approach to the natural and social environment. We also require that you write a short paragraph on how your photo, or sequence of photographs, fits the theme. The deadline is midnight 19 July 2020.
