WetlandCare 6th National Art and Photo Contest
WetlandCare Australia invites artists and photographers to enter our 6th annual National Art and Photography Competition. Help us promote wetlands and exhibit your work at Hunter Wetlands Centre, Newcastle to celebrate World Wetlands Day on Saturday 2 February 2013.
Our planet needs creativity and new ideas. WetlandCare Australia’s National Art and Photography Competition is a great way to link art and the environment! We are looking for artworks and photographs depicting all types of wetlands including lakes, rivers, ponds, swamps, marine shores, wetland plants, wildlife and people enjoying wetlands.

COPYRIGHT: The artist continues to hold copyright of the artworks during and after the specified time period. USAGE RIGHTS: The entrant/s (artist), by entering the competition and accepting a category prize or merit award agrees that the winning entry is acquired by WetlandCare Australia (WCA) AND that they grant WCA a non-exclusive license to use a reproduction of the winning artwork (including photography) from 1 January 2013. The work may be reproduced, in whole or in part, by WCA for their projects, media and promotions. The artist will be recognised by name and work title wherever the work is reproduced.
The winning artworks and photography may be used to develop products for fundraising by WCA, under a non-exclusive license for five years from 1 January 2013, provided the entrant has signed the relevant section of the entry form. The work may be reproduced, in whole or in part, for the development of products for promotional and fundraising purposes by WCA. The artist will be recognised by name and work title wherever the work is reproduced. WCA is a not-for-profit organisation, with all proceeds from fundraising going to projects such as wetland restoration and conservation.
