Weather Photographer of the Year 2017
Organised by The Royal Photographic Society and Royal Meteorological Society this competition is looking for the best images of weather and the impact of weather.
The RPS is here to help promote photography and support all photographers who want to develop their skills. We don’t mind whether you use the latest DSLR, a smartphone camera, or film. The Society is the world’s oldest photographic society in continuous existance since 1853 and is a registered charity and a membership organisation. We hold exhibitions of photography, competitions and we run workshops and courses covering many different aspects of photography. If you want recognition for your photography skills we offer a distinctions and qualifications programme. The Society also acts as a spokes-organisation for the media and is consulted by government and other organisations on matters such as copyright and photographers’ rights.
