Warwickshire Wildlife Trust Wildlife Photo Contest

WWTLogo-Trans Warwickshire Wildlife Trust has launched a new Wildlife Photography Competition for 2012 to celebrate the Wildlife Trust’s Centenary year. We want anyone to enter, from enthusiastic amateur to awe-inspiring professional!

‘Wild in Warwickshire’ and ‘Rediscover – Reconnect’ are the themes, open to interpretation, but photographs must include a brief explanation as to why you feel the photo fits the category entered. You can enter up to 3 photos per theme.

If you have a passion for Warwickshire’s wildlife and wild places – show us!  We have some very generous supporters who have kindly donated superb prizes for this year’s competition and we think you’ll agree they are worth grabbing your camera for!

All photographs must have been taken within Warwickshire, Coventry or Solihull, England.

Contest Prize & TERMS

PRIZE DETAILS: Adult 1st Prize: 1 week holiday for 4 in Argyll, Scotland plus boat trip for a chance to see sea eagles, seals and porpoise

Adult Highly Commended: Pair of Binoculars

Junior 1st Prize: Half day professional photography instruction with Richard Pearce

Junior Highly Commended: Wildlife goody bag' including the Wildlife Trust's very own book '152 Wild Things to Do' and 'Steve Backshall's Wildlife Adventurer's Guide: A Guide To Exploring Wildlife in Britain'.

Plus all Winners and highly commended entrants will also have their work showcased at our Photography Exhibition in October 2012 and in our first full colour charity calendar as well as a feature in Warwickshire Wild Magazine and on the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust website.
