Wanderlust Travel Photo of the Year competition 2011
The Wanderlust Travel Photo of the Year competition is now open! Once again, the best photos will be displayed in pride of place at the Destinations travel show in London and Manchester. Deadline Extended 24th October 2011
There are four categories in both the Amateur competition and the Portfolio competition
(i) People (ii) Wildlife (iii) Landscape (iv) Travel Icons (classic travel images that sum up a destination).
Contest Prize & TERMS
PRIZE DETAILS:
The four winners of the Amateur contest will win a photo commission to exotic, extraordinary Colombia. Meanwhile the winner of our Portfolio category will win £3,000 in cash.
1 Up to ten entries in each category will be displayed for judging at Destinations 2012.
2 Each of the four category winners will win a photo commission to visit a region of Colombia. There will be a total of four (4) regions and each travelling party will visit one of them. The trip will include economy international and domestic flights, ground arrangements and accommodation. Flights will be from London and tickets are non-changeable and non-refundable once booked. Travel insurance, meals and local taxes are not included.
3 Runners-up will receive a Nikon D3100.
4 Any highly-commended entries from the Amateur category will receive a Nikon COOLPIX S9100 . ELIGIBILITY: All / 18+ Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.
COPYRIGHT: Copyright of entered photos remains with the photographer in its entirety. USAGE RIGHTS: The photographer grants the organisers and sponsors non-exclusive rights to free production and exhibition of prize-winning and commended entries but only in direct promotion of and publicity for this competition for up to five years. Where possible, credit will be given. Photos cannot be sold by any third party without the photographer’s permission.
