Voies Off Awards 2018
At the heart of Rencontres d’Arles for more than 20 years, the Voies Off Festival is a major event in photography. This international dimension makes it the meeting place for hundreds of experts and a large audience.
We propose to artists and photographers who wish to show their work to participate to one of the most reknown photography awards.
The Voies Off Festival discovers, among the new generation, the best photographers in the world, and present their series to a public of experts and professionals. All the current photographic styles are accepted, if they demonstrate a coherent vision or a unity of style.
60 photographers are selected and their works screened during the opening weekend of the Voies Off Festival, taking place in the same time as the Rencontres d’Arles professional week, as its fringe festival.
At the end of the week, an international jury will gather and grant three awards ::
– The Voies Off Award :: 5 000€ grant
– The SAIF Revelation Award :: 2 500€ grant
– Lacritique.org Award :: Publication of an online portfolio along with a critical text.
– The 60 selected photographers will also have a free and early access to the Portfolio Reviews with a network of more than a 100 experts in Arles during the opening week.
