2. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
The salon is open to amateur and professional photographers from all over the world. On Jury’s approval the entrants must send the photographs digitally. Entrants must be authors of the works they submit. Each participant may send maximum of 4 photographs to each section. The organizer can use the exhibited works for reproduction in the catalogue and for promotion without paying any author’s fee. Taking part in Salon, participant automatically confirm his (her) agreement with the FIAP document FIAP Doc 18/2017

IMPORTANT NOTICE: “With the sole act of submitting his/her images or files to a salon under FIAP Patronage, the entrant accepts without exception and with no objection that the submitted images can be investigated by FIAP to establish if these obey to FIAP regulations and definitions even if the entrant is not a member of FIAP; that FIAP will use any means at its disposal for this undertaking; that any refusal to cooperate with FIAP or any refusal to submit the original files as captured by the camera, or failure to provide sufficient evidence, will be sanctioned by FIAP and that in case of sanctions following the non compliance with FIAP regulations, the name of the entrant will be released in any form useful to inform the breaches of the rules. 3. SECTIONS
There are six digital sections:
1) OPEN COLOR (color)
2) OPEN MONOCHROME (monochrome)
3) LANDSCAPE (color /monochrome)
4) WOMAN, MAN AND CHILDREN (color /monochrome)
5) NATURE (color /monochrome)
6) TRAVEL (color /monochrome)
Each photo can be presented in only one section.

4. PHOTOGRAPHS
Photos for entry form must be in JPG file format, entries size requirements: 1920 x 1080 pixels, maximum file size: 2Mb. No requirements for file names. Only English letters (a-z) are allowed. Any participant can submit up to 4 photographs under each theme (maximum 24 photographs in 6 themes).

5. ENTRY FORM
You must register and upload the photos online with our entry-form. Each entry-form must be written only in English. Follow the instructions on www.jadran-foto.com/venera2021

6. ENTRY FEE

Entry fee is mandatory for all participants:
20 Euro – for all participants

Possible ways of payment: PayPal transfer. Terms of payment – PayPal:
Checks are not accepted. The works of the authors who did not pay the fee would not be taken into consideration.

7. REPORT CARD NOTIFICATIONS
All participants will receive report card notifications via e-mail. The results of the exhibition will also be published on the website www.jadran-foto.com/venera2021

8. CATALOG
Each entrant will receive free of charge a best quality PDF catalog.

10. AWARDS
FIAP Blue Badge for the best Author.
FIAP – 6 Gold medals + 2 FIAP honorable mention ribbons in each section (12 altogether)
JADRAN– Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in each section (18 altogether) + 5 JADRAN DIPLOMA in each section (30 altogether).
SALON – Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in each section (18 altogether) + 5 SALON honorable mention ribbons in each section (30 altogether).

The decision of the jury is final and irrevocable, complaints are not possible.

13. NOTIFICATION & CATALOG
Notification cards will be sent by email.
All participants of the competition (the authors which submitted works and paid the participation fee) will receive download link for online PDF catalogue of the photo salon. The organizer will take all possible care while handling the email, awards and catalogues, however we assume no liability for damages and loses during shipment

14. DEFINITIONS

FIAP Definition of the black and white photography (monochrome)
A black and white work fitting from the very dark grey (black) to the very clear grey (white) is a monochrome work with the various shades of grey. A black and white work toned entirely in a single colour will remain a monochrome work able to stand in the black and white category; such a work can be reproduced in black and white in the catalogue of a salon under FIAP Patronage. On the other hand a black and white work modified by a partial toning or by the addition of one colour becomes a colour work (polychrome) to stand in the colour category; such a work requires colour reproduction in the catalogue of a salon under FIAP Patronage.
