URBAN – Everyday city life in your pictures
Subscriptions to “URBAN – Everyday city life in your pictures”, international photo and art contest, organized and supported by dotART association, based in Trieste, Italy, are open. Contest aims at picking up – through art photography and visual art, landscapes, people, faces, streets, buildings – moments of daily life and the city as urban environment.
URBAN is divided in two sections: Photography, and (new in 2011 edition) Computer Art – dedicated to mixed technique works (scanned images, 3D rendering, illustration, comics, digital art and graphics, superimposed images), where computer support is used at least in one of the production stages.
The Jury will be made of professional photographers, artist and communication experts: New York City based graphic designer Michael Samuel (his famous logos are: History Channel, the personal flag for Hillary Clinton and many more), Franco Pace, the worldwide photographer of sails and the Sea, and many more. Later on, in june, we will start an exhibition with the first 30 images ranked. Then, our intent is to move that exhibition around Europe.
