The Still Life
Still life photography depicts inanimate subject matter, typically a small group of objects. The still life photograph gives the photographer almost full control over lighting, mood, and composition of the image. And because they directly influence the creation process, still life images reflect the creativity and style of the photographers themselves. Digital, analog or antique processes, photographers of all skill levels and locations are welcome.
Our juror for Still Life is Kimberly Witham. Kimberly Witham was awarded a BA from Duke University and an MFA from the University of Massachusetts. Her artworks have been exhibited widely since 2001, and placed into numerous private collections in the US.
