The Lumen Prize
The Lumen Prize Exhibition is the world’s first competition and global tour to celebrate the very best fine art created digitally.
The Lumen Jury is seeking work of exceptional merit, originality, and artistic talent created in part or in full with the use of an app or software. An entry may include elements of graphic design, animation, illustration, photography, and film, but work that is based on one of these fields alone cannot be selected.
The Shortlist and Winners will form the heart of our global tour which will launch in January 2013 and visit locations around the world, including Shanghai, Hong Kong, Riga, Sri Lanka, and London.
All entrants will be exhibited in the Lumen Online Gallery with a public vote – and cash prize – for the winner.
Contest Prize & TERMS
US$1000 – Lumen Prize Runner-up
US$750 – Lumen Prize Finalist

COPYRIGHT: Each entry does not infringe the copyrights (and related rights), trade marks, design rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any third person or entity, or violate any person's rights of privacy or publicity or breach the contract rights of any third party. USAGE RIGHTS: By entering the competition, all entrants grant a royalty free, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide non-exclusive licence to the Organiser, to reproduce, distribute, display and create derivative works of the entries (along with a name credit) in connection with the competition and promotion of the competition, in any media now or hereafter known, including, but not limited to: Display at exhibitions; on the website; publication of a book featuring select entries in the competition; publication in magazines or online publications highlighting entries or winners of the competition and unrestricted rights to use all statements made in connection with the competition and in a way that the Organiser considers suitable, without the incidence of any liability for the Organiser.
The entrants also agree to any Authorised Party delegated so by the Organiser to reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works of the entry in connection with the competition and promotion of the competition, in any media now or hereafter known.
