The India Is Global Photography Challenge 2012
The Public Diplomacy Division (PDD) of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) presents the ‘India Is’ initiative. India Is involves two extremely popular forms of communication and content – Photography and Video. September 2012 sees the India Is Global Photography Challenge come to life. The Challenge invites you to explore the world of photography – amateur and professional.
With a host of new partners, exotic prizes and fascinating themes – the India Is Global Photography Challenge 2012 is the perfect place for any photography enthusiasts to express themselves and showcase their ideas and talents.
Through photographs and videos, ‘India Is’ illuminates the significant nuances that make India what it is, a diverse country with originality enshrined in its roots, a country that is world renowned for its amazingly rich and diverse mix of cultures shaped by its history, traditions and its people.
The uniqueness of this challenge lies in the fact that individuals from all over the world will be using photographs, videos and technology to capture and share their vision of India. The Indian public, visitors of India and India enthusiasts all over the world will generate the content that will be promoted and showcased through this platform.
