The Hamdan International Photography Awards 2011
HIPA is an annual competition that will have different subjects, the first session of 2011 is divided into 3 categories.: The first & main category (Love of the Earth). The second category (General): you can participate in any public photo. The third category (Dubai): is any photograph that shows the Emirate of Dubai
through the landmarks of modern and ancient culture, or shows tolerance and harmony among different nationalities, or the economic development witnessed in Dubai or any of the other areas related to Dubai.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Dubai said that the award embodies the vision of His Highness Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai to build creative generation in the field of culture and the arts and the adoption of talented local and international arenas.
He added that the award aims to attract global attention to culture and the arts through photography and promote educational programs and the development, in addition to other national talents.
Contest Prize & TERMS
COPYRIGHT: After agreeing to the rules, the participant holds moral and legal responsibility towards the photograph submitted to the award of the copyright or intellectual property rights for the photograph and its content. USAGE RIGHTS: The management of the award is legally capable of using the winning photos for purposes of printing and publishing, promoting the award through the media, and through art galleries.
