The Digital Photographer of the Year Awards 2011
The Digital Photographer of the Year Awards 2011 are now live and we want to see your entries! There are six categories to enter altogether – each launching in a separate issue of Digital Photographer magazine.
The Big Picture :Landscapes, Launch issue: 111 Launch date: 14th July 2011 Closing date: 1st September 2011
Strike a Pose: Portraits, Launch issue: 112. Launch date: 11th August 2011, Closing date: 22nd September 2011
Capture the Action: Action & Sports, Launch issue: 113, Launch date: 8th September 2011, Closing date: 27th October 2011
Call of the Wild: Wildlife & Nature, Launch issue: 114, Launch date: 6th October 2011, Closing date: 1st December 2011
Shades of Grey: Black & White, Launch issue: 115, Launch date: 2nd November 2011, Closing date: 28th December 2011
Creative Expression: Editing & Manipulation, Launch issue: 116, Launch date: 30th November 2011, Closing date: 25th January 2012
Contest Prize & TERMS

COPYRIGHT: The photographer will retain copyright and where an image is reproduced, the photographer will be credited USAGE RIGHTS: Imagine Publishing wishes to promote the awards in as many ways as possible and give maximum exposure to the entrants, shortlists and winners:, therefore the following is necessary for all entrants. By entering the competition, you grant Imagine Publishing, its partners and its sponsors a non-exclusive, royalty free right to reproduce, enlarge, publish or exhibit, on any media, the images for any purpose connected with the competition. This may include, but is not limited to:
a) inclusion in the Digital Photographer awards bookazine;
b) on the Digital Photographer website (www.dphotographer.co.uk) and on the websites of sponsors;
c) for use in press releases to be distributed to national, regional & specialist press giving information about or promoting the competition
d) inclusion in Digital Photographer magazine and its editions
