The Baron Prize 2021
The BARON PRIZE is a biannual award, which recognises artists, photographers and filmmakers who have created projects investigating gender, sex, sexuality and identity politics. BARON was launched in 2011, stocked worldwide in 20 different countries, many of our books are in collections including the book collections at MoMA NYC and The LUMA Foundation.
The first and second edition of the BARON PRIZE was judged by a transnational panel including Ashleigh Kane (Dazed & Confused); Chiara Bardelli Nonino (Italian Vogue); Ché Zara Blomfield (Art Editor Baron & Curator); Petra Collins (Curator & Photographer) Sue Webster (Artist), Bruce LaBruce (Artist & Director) and Nadia Lee Cohen (Photographer).
