The 155th International Print Exhibition 2012
Call for Entries. The 155th International Print Competition in partnership with Allen & Overy LLP. OPEN TO ALL (RPS MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS). Enter up to 5 prints. Up to 125 prints will be selected for the Exhibition.
All selected images will be reproduced in a full colour catalogue which all entrants receive. The Exhibition will open in the City of London in July 2012 and will tour the UK for a nearly a year. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to sell copies of their prints
For the RPS category you can submit up to 4 prints on any subject matter. If a print is submitted for the Allen and Overy Award this must relate to the theme of Change. A text box is provided on the entry form for a brief explanation of how your print relates to the theme.
Contest Prize & TERMS
2 Silver Society Medals and prizes of £1,000 each
3 Bronze Society Medals and prizes of £500 each
Allen & Overy Award of £1,000 on the theme of 'Change'

COPYRIGHT: The photographer warrants to The Society and Allen & Overy that the image(s) entered by the photographer does not infringe any copyright or other intellectual property right of any third party and use of an image by Allen & Overy, The Society or otherwise does not infringe the copyright or other intellectual property right of a third party. All work submitted must be the sole work of the entrant.The copyright of all entries remains with the photographers. USAGE RIGHTS: The Society reserves the right to reproduce, without payment, any accepted images for The Society’s Exhibition catalogue and CD-Rom for publicity and promotion purposes in connection with the Exhibition, including on The Society website
Allen & Overy may select images to be used for the purposes set out below for a period of up to three years from July 2012. In return for a one-off payment of a licence fee of £200 in respect of each image selected, the relevant entrant agrees that his/her image may be used, and to supply a second copy of the image at no extra charge for these purposes. These images must be available for sale by the photographer through The Society. Allen & Overy will provide insurance cover and return the prints to The Society at the end of the three year period.
If an entrant’s image is selected by Allen & Overy in accordance with the above, the entrant agrees that Allen & Overy may: (i) copy and hang the image in their offices worldwide; (ii) use the image on their intranet, website (small file size) and on plasma screens in their offices worldwide; and/or (iii) use the image on any document or other material that has been created by or on behalf of Allen & Overy (excluding third party publications), in each case whether in connection with the Exhibition or otherwise and ensuring that the photographer’s identity and copyright is acknowledged.
This clause will not prevent the photographer from selling or licensing the image to any other person
