Take a view – Landscape Photographer of the Year

TAKE A VIEW_RGB_72.jpg (42 KB)Entry for the fourth annual Take a view – Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards is now open and you have until mid-July to upload your pictures for a chance to win £10,000. Entrants have until 15th July to enter the 2010 Award by submitting their photographs of the British landscape. The competition is open to everyone and you can enter up to 15 photographs across the four categories. There is a total prize fund worth £20,000, plus an eight-week exhibition at the National Theatre and the publication of a full colour book of Best Entries.

Unlike many other photographic competitions, ‘Take a view’ celebrates the United Kingdom only, offering photographers worldwide the opportunity to showcase their images of this richly diverse country.
There will also be an award for the Young Landscape Photographer of the Year and each of the four main categories has both adult and youth sections.
The 2010 Awards are being held in association with Network Rail and Natural England, the nature conservation agency.

Contest Prize & TERMS

PRIZE DETAILS: ‘Landscape Photographer of the Year 2010’ prize £10,000. Four first place category prizes of £1000 each. Four second place category prizes of £500.Young Landscape Photographer of the Year 2010 will win £1,000 + a place on a 2-day photography workshop, in the UK, with renowned landscape photographer, Charlie Waite. There will be a prize of a place on a 2-day photography workshop, in the UK, with Charlie Waite, for the photographer of the image judged the best in each of the four youth categories.
