Love taking photos? Well, if you’ve got an eye for amazing animals, stunning scenery, fascinating faces or simply things that make you laugh, make sure you enter the National Geographic Photography Contest for Kids!

One lucky winner will scoop the trip of a lifetime — a family holiday in Zambia, Africa! As well as getting up close with wild animals and staying in incredible accommodation, you’ll be given a personal photography masterclass from top wildlife photographer, Sue Flood! If you’re crowned National Geographic Kids’ Young Photographer of the Year, you’ll be in for a treat! You and your family will be whisked off to Zambia, in southern Africa, on an awe-inspiring, eight-night photographic adventure!  During this trip of a lifetime, you’ll spend five nights at the beautiful Mfuwe Lodge, a secluded camp run by the Bushcamp Company in Zambia’s beautiful South Luangwa National Park, where you’ll be guaranteed a jaw-dropping wildlife experience in one of Africa’s last unspoilt wildernesses.
Award-winning wildlife photographer Sue Flood will join you on safari, showing you how to capture breathtaking images of lions, leopards, elephants and giraffes. And with Sue as your teacher, you’re guaranteed to take pictures that will live with you forever!

The competition includes four categories: (1) People; (2) Animals; (3) Scenery; and (4) Humour

Submissions within each category will be judged separately. Limit one entry per person, per category. A panel of experts will judge the entries based on creativity (50%) and photograph quality (50%). One winner will be s elected for each category.
