SNAPSHOT 2013 Teenagers International Photographic Prize
The SNAPSHOT 2013 photographic competition provides a unique forum for the exhibition of photographs made by teens from around the globe. This year we have a theme: Transformation – A marked change, as in appearance or character, usually for the better. What things do you participate in/wear/enjoy/watch that make you feel transformed – changed from one state of being to another? Maybe people are the key to transformation or maybe it’s sport or art or being in nature or hanging out in the city. Maybe travel is transformational, maybe it’s shopping, or growing things or making things or competing or maybe just joining in has the ability to make you feel transformed?
Give us your photographic spin on the theme of Transformation/ Metamorphosis and upload a single digital photo. Three hundred photographs will be pre selected from digital entries received to be printed and hung in an exhibition of Prize entries. The Prize will be judged by a panel of three industry professionals. The Gallery will be responsible for printing each photograph that is selected for exhibition.
Contest Prize & TERMS
Single image file being ready for printing as an A3 size photograph (A3 portrait is 420mm high x 297mm wide or A3 landscape is 297mm high x 420mm wide) in JPEG format between 1 MB and 3 MB Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.
COPYRIGHT: Each entrant will retain ownership of the copyright subsisting in their photograph USAGE RIGHTS: By submitting an entry an entrant consents to their photograph being reproduced by the Gallery and the media in any and in all advertising and publicity for the exhibition of the Gallery.
The Gallery reserves the right to gift any exhibited printed photograph to a community organisation.
The Gallery may select an entrant's photograph for tour as part of an edited suite of the SNAPSHOT exhibition.
The Gallery may keep an archive of an entry of an exhibited photograph and reproduce the photograph for promoting the Gallery and its activities. A copy of each entry may be kept as part of the Gallery email archiving system.
