PRIZE DETAILS: As well as the chance to win a fantastic state of the art digital camera from Fujifilm UK Ltd or a photography voucher courtesy of the Sorrell Foundation, winners will be invited to a glittering awards ceremony in London where they will rub shoulders with some of Mencap’s celebrity supporters. The winning entries will be shown in an exhibition at a London art gallery and on the Mencap website. Following this, the exhibition will go on tour across the UK. ELIGIBILITY: People with a learning disability can enter. People who do not have a learning disability can also enter but the photo or film must be something to do with learning disability. COPYRIGHT: Photographers and film-makers must get permission from everyone involved, including permission for the use of any music in films. Photographers retain ownership of their copyright but as part of the entering process, the entrant will agree to Mencap using the photos in publications, press releases or any other way chosen to promote the competition and organisation. Mencap will also have the right to sell the framed photos after the exhibition display.
