To celebrate the sporting events this summer, Sigma UK has teamed up with Sigma User and are holding a ‘Spirit of Sport’ online photographic competition. It’s free to enter and has some big prizes! Not only that, but we’re inviting you to help us with the judging!

The Spirit of Sport competition is all about capturing some great shots which show what sporting events mean to you – the people, the atmosphere and the celebrations.
Please note: If you’re planning a visit to London this summer to watch the Olympics and want to take some pictures there, sadly we are unable to accept images taken from inside the venues due to the restrictions that LOCOG have placed on amateur and professional photographers alike. Therefore, we can only accept images from outside these arenas however we are also keen to see local sporting events in your area inspired by the more famous events taking place in the UK’s capital.
