Shoot Nations photography competition
Celebrating it’s 5th anniversary, Shoot Nations is a UK based photography project that provides young people (aged 11 to 25) with a platform to express their views which are presented to the highest form of government, the United Nations in a ceremony in New York on International Youth Day.
The project includes a photography competition, exhibitions and workshops in seven global cities, including a two month long exhibition in the lobby of the United Nations secretariat building in New York starting in August 2010.
THE BRIEFS: Submit three photographs (or drawings), one to capture each of the following ideas:
1. What does ‘city’ mean to you?
2. Growing up in the city as a boy or a girl
3. Country to city, city to country – people on the move

COPYRIGHT: Photographer owns copyright but grants project license to use photographs to promote the project for up to five years.
