This area is the 4th largest art district in the United States, guaranteeing your work to be seen by many art lovers. Deadline Extended
Method Art is a gallery where photography is not only strongly supported, but also highly celebrated. This opportunity also includes exposure of your work during Scottsdale Artwalk every Thursday nights. This has been a 30 year long tradition of over 70 galleries opening up their doors to a large variety of artists and artwork. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to showcase your work among many other artists in an extremely popular art district.
From time to time, we witness and experience some of our planets naturally caused disturbances. We want to see your vision expressed through photography on how you view these instances, ranging from subtle to astonishing moments caught in an image. Searching for the Perfect Storm will be a juried photography exhibition based on the theme of storms. Whether it’s a blizzard, dust, rain cloud formation, or any sort of storm, the theme is open to the artist’s interpretation. The fee will be $30.00 for up to 5 images for consideration.
Artists chosen to exhibit their work will be announced and notified by December 9th, 2011. A cash award (cash prize to be announced) and fellowship prize will also be given to the best in show winner; this individual will be invited to show their work at the gallery for a period of 6 months.
