Reflections Photo Contest
Ultimately this is a challenge which you have to interpret. Perhaps Reflections could be interpreted literally as the reflection in the glass of a tower. a mirror, or the water of the bay. However you interpret the theme, the judges really want to see images that show creativity
Only images clearly reflecting the theme “Reflections” will be considered for the competition. All photos submitted that are not representative of the specific theme will be removed.
Contest Prize & TERMS
PRIZE DETAILS:
First Place : The winning entry will see the photographer jetting to New York to experience a once-in-a-lifetime four-week photography course -worth up to QR30,000- at the world-renowned New York Film Academy. Air fares, accommodation and the workshop fee are all included.
Second Place : The runner up will be "exposed" to world of choice with a voucher worth QR15,000 that can be redeemed against anything in Salam Stores' extensive photography department.
Third, Fourth and Fifth Place :The winner will also be able to enjoy a Salam Stores shopping spree with photographic vouchers worth QR7,500, QR1,850 and QR1,850, respectively.
Sixth Place :This will be the ‘public vote’ accolade, which will "capture" the winner a Salam Stores photographic voucher worth QR10,000. ELIGIBILITY: Nationals/Residents of the State of Qatar / 18+ Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.
COPYRIGHT: All images submitted must be the work of the entrant and must not have won a prize in any other photographic competition. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Entrants must warrant that they are the authors of the submitted photograph and that they own the copyright for it.
Copyright of all submitted photos in this competition remains with the respective entrants USAGE RIGHTS: By entering the Contest, the entrant consents to JPA's and its partner, affiliates and subsidiaries use of his/her name, except where prohibited by law, and use, reproduction, and display of his/her entry for any advertising and promotional purposes relating to the Contest, in any media now known or hereafter devised, without further notice, compensation, consideration, review, or consent and without regard to moral rights.
In consideration of their providing the Competition, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, rights to the organizer started from the day of the selection, to feature any or all of the submitted images in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material connected to this competition.
By submitting an entry, the entrant grants JPA the irrevocable right to publish the photograph in relation to publicity of this competition without compensation to you.
