QPWS It’s Better Outdoors Photo Comp
The QPWS ‘It’s Better Outdoors’ Photo Competition is being sponsored by the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, is free to enter and open for images taken in Queensland only. The photo competition focuses on the diversity of Queensland’s natural environments and the wide range of recreation activities that occur within them.
Outdoor enthusiasts are encouraged to enter photos taken throughout Queensland. Photos taken in national parks, marine parks, conservation parks and State forests are particularly welcome.
All category winners will have their work profiled on the Queensland Outdoor Recreation Federation website and through marketing material. The competition winners will be announced and all finalist images showcased in an AV presentation at the Queensland Outdoor Recreation Awards Dinner on Friday October 28th, 2011

COPYRIGHT: Copyright and intellectual property of the images remains solely the property of the photographer and images used will be attributed to the photographer USAGE RIGHTS: By entering this competition each entrant agrees to Outdoors Queensland/Queensland Outdoor Recreation Federation and the Department of Environment and Resource Management/Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (The Promoters) reproducing, publishing or exhibiting their submitted images without notice or payment for promotional purposes of this competition, future competitions and the management, positive aspects & benefits of the outdoors in Queensland, except where a prize winner advises the Promoter otherwise. These uses may include (but are not limited to) reproduction on the internet, intranet, screen savers, websites, presentations, publications, and events
By submitting an entry, the entrant accepts that The Promoters may choose to resize, resample, or crop the photograph as needed for best presentation of the original image
