Pride Photo Award 2019

Pride Photo Award 2019

Pride Photo Award is an annual international contest for photos about sexual (LGBT) and gender diversity. We are looking for top quality photography on the following topics:

(non-stereotypical) images of gender, masculinity and femininity and the
the diversity of the LGBT community.

Photos can be submitted in four categories: Single Images, Stories, an Open
category and a category for the theme of the 2019 edition: ‘Unique’.

The 2019 theme calls for unique photos about unique people. On the one
hand, it’s about new ways of storytelling. Innovative ways to seduce
people to adopt a different view of the world, to step into lives and stories
that are often far removed from their comfort zone. Secondly, this year’s
theme looks for stories about unique people, who live their life without
compromise or shame for being different. It’s about the courage to be
yourself, no matter what.

The images will be judged by a jury of international photography experts,
with their final decision being officially announced on 5 September 2019.

PRIZE DETAILS: The first three places in every category and the Special Mentions are featured in the exhibition of the winners. The exhibition takes place in De Hallen in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, in November.
