Photography Portfolio Competition

Photography Portfolio Competition The Women’s Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art is pleased to announce its third Photography Portfolio Competition.

We have left the categories open to be as diverse as possible. We leave it to you to select and submit what you consider your best work.

JURORS for the 2014 Competition include the celebrated photographer Larry Fink, publisher and gallery director Darius Himes, and Philadelphia Museum of Art curator Peter Barberie.

Proceeds from the sale of the portfolios go to The Women’s Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Funds raised are used to benefit the Museum and its photography collection.

Contest Prize & TERMS

PRIZE DETAILS: Each winning photograph will enter the permanent collection of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and will be exhibited by the Museum as part a special celebratory event to take place in June 2014. Additionally, the winning photographs will be sold individually in editions of 15. Each winning artist will receive a cash prize of $1,000 and will be paid a 5% commission on sales of their prints from the edition of 15. ELIGIBILITY: International / 18+

Applications may upload 10-15 images (jpg). For good image and fast upload, images should be sized not larger than 1220px @72dpi Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.

COPYRIGHT: The copyright would remain with the artist. USAGE RIGHTS: The Philadelphia Museum of Art shall have the perpetual right to display accepted works and to reproduce accepted works of educational and promotional purposed in both print and electronic form
