The RBGE Photography Competition 2009
The competition is open to all. Photos must be taken in one of the four Gardens – Edinburgh, Dawyck in the Borders, Benmore in Argyll or Logan in Dumfries & Galloway.
Categories as follows:
1. Garden View
A landscape taken in any of the four Gardens. Note: images should not feature any identifiable people.
2. Plant Portrait
A plant (tree, shrub or flower) either singly or in a group of the same plant, or a close-up, taken in any of the four Gardens.
3. Wildlife in the Garden
Animals, insects or birds taken in any of the four Gardens.
Contest Prize & TERMS
PRIZE DETAILS:
Top Prize for the Overall Winner will be a day spent at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh with RBGE’s professional photographer, and publication in The Botanics magazine.
First Prize Winner in each category will receive vouchers to the value of £50 kindly donated by Dobbies Garden Centres.
Second Prize Winner in each category will receive vouchers to the value of £20 kindly donated by Dobbies Garden Centres.
Third Prize Winner in each category will receive RBGE vouchers to the value of £10.
All prizewinning photos will form part of a special photography exhibition at RBGE.
