Presented by Artists Wanted, 3rd Ward and SCOPE Art Show, Art Takes Miami is an international search for talent, skill and vision offering over $25,000 in prizes and exposure, including a $10,00 grant and an exclusive featured booth at this year’s SCOPE Art Fair during Art Basel Miami Beach 2011.

Artists Wanted was created by two Brooklyn based artists, Jason Goodman and William Etundi Jr. Their firsthand experience in the art world was the inspiration for creating this bold new platform for discovering burgeoning talent through unique, far-reaching opportunities. Delivering opportunities and resources that help establish and nurture professional and creative growth – including online portfolios, international competitions and high-profile exhibitions and events – Artists Wanted is re-shaping the way artists are discovered.

SCOPE is the largest and most global art fair in the world featuring emerging contemporary art with numerous markets worldwide. SCOPE’s goal and passion is to present the most innovative galleries, artists and curators while networking them with patrons through a unique program of solo and thematic group shows presented alongside museum-quality exhibitions, collector tours, screenings, and special events. In over thirty-five fairs spanning the past ten years, SCOPE has solidified its position as the premier showcase for international emerging contemporary art.

3rd Ward is a member-based art and design center for creative professionals in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. 3rd Ward is committed to providing resources, opportunities and a dynamic-creative network to members and the community at large. Their space houses four gorgeous photo studios, a professional wood & metal shop, a fully loaded digital media lab, shared & private work space and a large selection of interdisciplinary art classes.
