PopPhoto.com has gotten a bit of a facelift. The new contest section is one of our favorite parts of the new features. We have a huge collection of super-talented readers pointing their cameras all over the globe and we wanted to offer them a place to show off their stuff — not to mention win some excellent photographic prizes.

For our first contest, we have chosen the concept of “Childhood.” It could be anything from a picture of your own smiling offspring to an abstract image of a discarded toy meant to reduce the viewer into a sobbing heap. The key is to be creative.
