Petsavers Photography Competition
The 2011 Petsavers photography competition is now open. There have been some really creative entries in the past, so this year we’ve decided to let your imaginations run wild and not limit photos to a particular theme.
This means you can send in any picture of your pet you like! The judges will be looking for qualities like humour and character in the photos, as well as photographic skill. The winners of the previous year’s competitions are on www.petsavers.org.uk, so take a look to see what has caught the judge’s eyes in the past to give you some ideas.
Contest Prize & TERMS
PRIZE DETAILS:
In each category 1st prize will receive £200 in photography vouchers, 2nd prize £100 in photography vouchers and 3rd prize £50 in photography vouchers.

COPYRIGHT: You warrant that: (a) You are the sole author and owner of the copyright for all images entered. (b) The photographs you submit shall not infringe the rights of any third parties. By submitting your entry photographs, you undertake to indemnify Petsavers and BSAVA for any losses arising from a breach of points (a) and (b) above. All copyright and title to all entered photographs remains with you in its entirety. However, you grant Petsavers, BSAVA and the competition sponsors non-exclusive royalty-free, irrevocable licence rights to use the photographs for any purpose including, but not limited to, the following purposes: Inclusion within the Petsavers newsletter, the Petsavers Bulletin. Inclusion within BSAVA Congress promotional publications. Promotion of and publicity for this competition in the future. Where possible, appropriate credits will be given. Display at the BSAVA Congress of the winning and commended entries. Use on merchandise to be sold by Petsavers or the sponsors to raise funds for Petsavers. The right to sub-license the use of the photographs. Use of Images of Children and Adults. Petsavers and BSAVA are committed to ensuring that personal data received in the course of this competition is protected. Pictures of persons including children with their pets could be submitted. Petsavers and BSAVA take the use of personal data especially images of children seriously and have data protection policies in place for the handling of all personal data including such images of children. Please read this policy for further details. If your entry photograph contains images of children and/or adults, you must ensure that explicit permission (preferably those in writing) by the persons whose images appear in the photograph have been given for their images to be entered in this competition as well as the purposes which their images would be used. If requested by Petsavers or the BSAVA, you undertake to provide Petsavers or the BSAVA with the contact details of the person whose images appear in your entry photograph to enable Petsavers and the BSAVA to ensure that permission has been obtained from them.
