Our esteemed judge will be none other than Chris Packham and the photo he decides best captures our theme in each category will win a hamper worth £250.

He’ll also decide the overall winner who will win a stay for two in Greece courtesy of wildlife holiday specialists, Greenwings. For each entry we receive, we’ll donate £1 to Butterfly Conservation, up to a maximum value of £5,000. Plus, everyone who enters will get free Butterfly Conservation membership. Happy snapping!

Photos that are sent in can either show either a close up of the subject matter or a whole tree/flower or plant. In the category marked “nature and you” the photo can feature either a close up such as a hand with an insect on, or the whole person enjoying the wonders of nature. They will be judged on the following criteria:
a. Creativity and Originality
b. Technical Quality such as clarity and composition
c. Brand Relevance
d. How well the photo captures the natural beauty of either Britain’s countryside or garden wild life
e. How well diversity and colours of wildlife is portrayed.
