PRIZE DETAILS: The contest is made up of 12 monthly competitions, for 12 months. The contest has started in October 2015 and will end on 24 September 2016.
The monthly competitions start: day 25th to day 24th of the following month.
Every submission will get exposure at Giudecca 795 Art Gallery in Venice, on a digital display which will feature all of each month’s submissions.
All contest participants visiting the gallery personally, will receive one t-shirt for free while supplies last.
Twelve winners will be selected – one per month – to have their work produced as a high quality print, and displayed in a group show of the twelve winners, hosted for free at the Gallery.
The group show of the 12 winning photos will be previewed at the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice Hotel
The 12 winning photos will also be published in the 2017 Hilton Molino Stucky Venice Hotel calendar, with great international exposure
Each of the monthly winners has the potential to win ONE YEARLY GRAND PRIZE including the above, plus in addition (on the occasion of the show’s opening):
- a solo show to be presented in the Giudecca 795 Art Gallery;
- a two-night staying for two at the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice Hotel;
- a dinner for two at the prestigious Harry’s Bar by Arrigo Cipriani;
- a gondola tour for two. (weather conditions permitting)

USAGE RIGHTS: The authors grant the organization the non-exclusive right to reproduce it for contest advertising and exhibiting purposes, at any time in any media with attribution, without further compensation. The organization is not going to use the photos for other purposes other than the contest promotion; the photos will not be used elsewhere or sold without prior authorization and agreement with the author(s). The contest partner, Hilton Venice Hotel will be able to use the monthly winners or another selected photo for its 2016 calendar, giving international exposure to the amateur photographers as a compensation.
