OhMyOlympus International Photo Contest
The OhMyOlympus international photo contest from Burufly.com (the largest Social Travel Site in South East Asia) is sponsored by Olympus.
This is an international photo competition with South East Asia’s destination photos to be submitted. (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar (Burma), Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei, Malaysia, East Timor, Indonesia, Philippines and Singapore)
How to participate?
1. Upload at least 5 photos of your favorite destination in Southeast Asia to www.burufly.com/ohmyolympus and add the hashtag #OhMyOlympus
2. Share your photo on Facebook and Twitter.
3. Our judge will select & shortlist 25 photos (5 photos per week) and place a watermark on them. The winner will be selected from the judge’s shortlist.
Judge: Arbain Rambey
Born in 1961, Arbain Rambey graduated from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1988 with a Bachelors of Civil Engineering. One of his photography books, ‘Indonesia, Mist of Time’ was published by Waterous & Co. in London, UK, in 2005. Arbain has won several photography awards from national and international photo competitions, such as the Festival Seni International Art Summit 1999 where he was crowned the Sole Winner. Arbain also won two borne medals in a row in the 2006 and 2007 Lomba Salon Foto. In addition to working as a photographer in Kompas daily, Arbain also teaches in several universities such as Universitas Pelita Harapan, Universitas Media Nusantara, and the Darwis School of Photography. Arbain is frequently featured in various photography exhibitions, including solo exhibitions such as Expresi (Medan, 2002), Mandailing (Medan, 2002), Senyap (Bentara Budaya Jakarta, 2004), and Colour of Indonesia (Galeri Cahaya, Jakarta, 2004), as well as several collaborative exhibitions.
