Monochrome 2017
Monochrome photography has always been one of the most beloved genders of photography. It has never been considered as old fashioned. It is a different angle of viewing and presenting images and for some photographers this was their main motive to start taking photographs. The existence of only one color functions as an incentive that unlocks feelings and leads viewers to new paths of realization. All Monochrome photographs taken with film of digital camera by both amateur and professional photographers can take part in the “Monochrome” contest.
The submission of photos for the specific contest is free. Each photographer can participate with up to 5 files.
The artists who will be chosen to participate in the exhibition and be presented at the web page of Blank Wall Gallery, will have to pay the amount of €25, regardless of the number of their photos that will be exhibited. Only the photographers chosen to be exhibited will pay the fee. This sum includes the printing of photos (40x50cm), which will be made by Blank Wall Gallery in their own high quality labs, and everything needed for the realization of the exhibition. The prints, if not sold, are returned to the photographers after the end of the exhibition.
Contest Prize & TERMS
COPYRIGHT: The Artists declare that they are the owners of the Works that will be exhibited and they have their copyrights.
Any photograph used by Blank Wall Gallery will have a photographer’s credit.
The royalties of the Works are not bestowed to Blank Wall Gallery at any time. The copyright of the Works remains in the creators and in them alone.
The copyright of the Works during and after the exhibition remains with the Artist.
Blank Wall Gallery does not have the right to make use of or bestow the high definition files or the prints of the Works that will be used for the realization of the exhibition.
Neither Blank Wall Gallery nor their associates, affiliates or partners assume any responsibility for photos submitted in violation of copyright regulations. USAGE RIGHTS: Artists grant Blank Wall Gallery the right to use their images to promote the exhibition, for display on Blank Wall Gallery webpage and for inclusion in an exhibit catalog
Blank Wall Gallery may use all entries submitted for marketing & promotional purposes across all media though there may not be any monetary compensation.
Blank Wall Gallery will not have any commercial profit from the Works that will be exhibited and it cannot exploit them at any time.
The Works will remain at the Blank Wall Gallery premises only for the period the exhibition lasts for.
The Works can remain at the Blank Wall Gallery premises only if the exhibition is prolonged for some time after the end of the programmed date.
