The MIRA Mobile Prize is a mobile photography contest – photographs captured and edited by mobile devices – which is now in its 15th edition.

Each applicant may submit a TOTAL of THREE (3) photos, in color or black and white, in the following categories: Architecture, Daily-life, Digital Art, Landscape, Minimal, Portrait and WATER.

All the photographs must be taken and edited with mobile devices (tablets, smartphones or phones by any operating system)

The MIRA Mobile Prize is an initiative of the MIRA FORUM Gallery in Porto, Portugal.

The application is free, no costs involved.
To support the exhibition costs (printing, framing, mounting and communication) will be asked to each finalist the rate of 35 euros (38,08 USD)

JURY
The MIRA Mobile Prize 2023 is awarded by a jury made up of five personalities of various nationalities and of recognized merit in photography in general and mobile photography in particular.

PRIZE
The winner’s prize is:
1. A two way flight from an european capital to the city of Porto
2. Lodging for 5 nights, 6 days in MIRA FORUM
3. A trip to Picos de Europa (Photoadrenaline programme) for the Portuguese author with the best classified photograph
4. If the winner is Portuguese, he/she may opt for a stay of 5 nights and 6 days in Companhia das Culturas, in Castro Marim, Algarve

EXHIBITION AND PUBLICATION
The opening of the exhibition of the 15th edition of the MIRA Mobile Prize | 2023 will take place at the Galeria MIRA FORUM on the April 1, 2023, at 4 pm.

The photographs chosen by the jury as finalists will be printed, framed and exhibited; the top 150 will be projected at the exhibition. The exhibition will be open until May 13, 2023.
In addition to the exhibition, a book will be published with the 50 images from the shortlist, as well as the 150 best classified photographs.
