Macquarie Photography Prize
The 2013 Macquarie Photography Prize (MPP) is a global photo competition with $16,000 prize money and a 1st prize of $10,000.
We are selecting 100 finalists. 20 monthly over a 5 month period. 1st 20 finalists deadline is October 30th.
Public exhibitions to be held in Australia from 30th March 2013 onwards.
2013 Categories are – Macro, Nature, Live Action and Arthouse

Best in Show – $10,000
4 x Best in Section $500 each
4 x 2nd in Section $250 each
People's Choice $3,000 camera equipment ELIGIBILITY: Open to All Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.
COPYRIGHT: Entrants will retain copyright in their photograph. USAGE RIGHTS: Each Entrant grants the MPP a non-exclusive perpetual licence to use photograph images to promote the MPP, including (without limitation) in both digital and print form and to exhibit the photograph images in public places and on the Australian Art Sales website. The MPP will credit the photograph source where possible.
If (and only if) the Entrant agrees, the MPP will sell print enlargements of the image. The printing of enlargements for sale are the responsibility of the entrant with the MPP to receive a 30% commission rate on each sale.
The print enlargements prepared for exhibition as finalists remain the property of the MPP after exhibiting concludes but will not be sold. The prints will then be included in albums to be shown at future MPP exhibitions.
