PRIZE DETAILS: The theme of the LXV 2021 edition is & # 039; a Riveder le Stelle & # 039; in homage to the poet Dante Alighieri whose VII centenary of his death occurs.
Quality, research, innovation and contemporaneity will be the fundamental criteria for the selection. A maximum of 30 participants between painters and photographers will be selected. All information and the announcement are available on the website www.premiocascella.it.
In this particular period in which it is not yet possible to program or complete different and diversified cultural events, if the physical exhibition is not possible, the Basilio Cascella Award will propose again the exhibition solution of 2020, bringing the works directly to the public and exhibiting in the city streets of Ortona (CH) in a public art project, format also proposed by the recent COVER 2021 exhibition project in the town of Lanciano (CH), curated by Imagine Fine Art of which the artist Silvia Morgana of Federico, one of the participants of the previous edition of the Prize. There will also be a virtual exhibition of which the 2020 edition can still be visited on the site.
Each participating artist is asked to analyze this concept and express it through painting or photography, bringing their own personal interpretation to the attention of the public. Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.

Each participant declares to own all the rights on the originals and is responsible for what is the subject of their works, relieving the organizers of any responsibility, including towards any subjects depicted in the photographs. USAGE RIGHTS: 2. The artists grant the Organization the rights to reproduce the works and texts released for the Basilio Cascella 2021 Prize which will be used to create the catalog, archive the subscriptions and advertise the works on the Prize website, or for other forms of communication and activities of the Organization. The winning works will become the cover of the catalog and logo of the 2021 edition.
