Who better than Ansel Adams to introduce a call for submissions for a landscape exhibition? Admittedly calling on Adams is setting the bar quite high, but almost all photographers make land-scape photos and all can make a good landscape image with enough practice. The landscape is all around us, so there’s no shortage of subject matter.

With the changes we’re seeing in the natural environmant, documenting our surroundings is more important than ever. Wherever you live or wherever you go the “lay of the land” is there. You don’t need to travel, to find a landscape worthy of a photo. There are microlandscapes to be found in vacant lots and city parks, and in some places, right outside your windows.
