The news can leave us a bit down these days and the Art League wants you to lift our spirits! Don’t we all need a good laugh? Recent studies show that indulging your sense of humor can help you live a longer, healthier life. Laughing not only eases stress, it promotes social bonding, and lowers blood pressure. Your camera lens may capture an image that promotes a smile, giggle or, perhaps, a belly laugh. Silly animals, goofy kids, a wild event, a good laugh will recharge your batteries!
Open to artists residing in New York, Connecticut or New Jersey, 18 years or older.
Images created via any form of photography will be accepted for consideration (i.e. shot on film, shot digitally, unaltered shots, alternative process, mixed media, digital manipulations, montages, photograms, etc.) as long as part of the image is photographically created and the photo was taken by the artist.
