Landscape Photographer of the Year
Now in its seventh year, the Take a view – Landscape Photographer of the Year Award is open for entries and you have until early July to upload your pictures for a chance to win £10,000. Entrants have until 4th July to enter the 2013 Awards by submitting their photographs of the British landscape. The competition is open to everyone and you can enter up to 25 photographs across the four categories. There is a prize fund worth £20,000, including £10,000 for the overall winner. There is also a special class for those under 17, so the whole family can get involved. Unlike many other photographic competitions, Take a view celebrates the United Kingdom only, offering photographers worldwide the opportunity to showcase their images of this richly diverse and unique country.
Contest Prize & TERMS
Four Special Awards -including a flight in the Network Rail inspection helicopter for the best image of the British rail network and a special prize for the best picture of Britain entered by an overseas entrant (supported by VisitBritain). COPYRIGHT: By submitting images to the Competition, each entrant confirms and warrants that:
a) they are the sole author of each entry and that it is their original work;
b) they own the copyright and any other intellectual property rights of each image; USAGE RIGHTS: By entering the Competition, you grant TAV and its sponsors and supporters a non-exclusive, irrevocable licence to reproduce, enlarge, publish or exhibit, on any media, the images for any purpose connected with the Competition. This may include, but is not limited to:
a) inclusion in the Competition book – print & digital versions;
b) display at any exhibitions;
c) on a secure web browser for judging purposes;
d) on the Competition website and on the websites of sponsors and supporters;
e) for use in press, promotional and marketing materials – both print & digital.
Entrants also agree that TAV can sub-license images to the media and to the Competition’s sponsors and supporters for reproduction in connection with the Competition.
Images used on merchandise commissioned by TAV will be discussed individually with the photographer concerned and a separate agreement made.
