How do I enter the contest?
You have to be registered and logged in to enter the contest.
How many photos can I submit?
You can only submit one photo. If you submit more than the allowed amount, this can lead to all your entries being removed.
How much does it cost to enter?
It is Free to enter this photo contest.
Who can enter the contest?
Anyone can enter the contest as long as they are over the age of 18 years, or have permission from their parents or guardians.
How do I get more votes?
Once you have submitted your entry, you will see social links for Facebook, Twitter etc. on the left hand side, and you can use these to promote your entry. You can also use your entries url to promote your photo on your website, or other websites.
What will my photo be used for?
Winning or short-listed/finalist photos may be used by PCN for marketing and promotional purposes of this and future contests and no other purpose, these uses include; displaying the entries on the PCN website, promotion of the contests and the photographers, cropping and re-sizing the image as necessary to fit pre-defined formats for the competition. All photos may be displayed on PCN for the purpose of this contest.
When I enter, who owns my photo?
PCN respects photographers rights and does not claim copyright over images submitted to this contest, you the author retain full copyright in each entry. Why was my photo removed from the contest?
There are a number of reasons why a photo is removed, but generally it is removed for poor quality, (out of focus etc.), or it is too small in size to see any detail, or it has a date/text stamped across the photo, or it has text other than a very subtle watermark across the photo, or it has fallen foul of the rules and terms.
