COPYRIGHT: Submission for the Kolga Tbilisi Photo award 2023 will begin on February 10, 2023.
The contest is open to all photographers worldwide. There are no age restrictions. The contest submission is open from February 10, 2023. Submissions will be accepted through March 15, 2023. You are free to choose the subject of your photo projects.
This year’s categories include:
Documentary Series
Reportage
Conceptual Photo Project
Single image /One Shot/
Mobile Photo /One shot/
Photos uploaded under Documentary Series, Reportage and Conceptual Photo categories should be a series of a minimum 6 photos to maximum 12 photos. You may enter a maximum of one entries/series in each category. Best One Shot and Mobile Photo – one shot categories participants can upload a maximum of 5 photos in each categories. Applicants can participate in any or all categories announced.
Applications for the 2023 Kolga Award shall include: filled autobiography field. In case of participation in photo series category, fill the title field with title and then fill the text field with the concept description of the series in English (each max. 900 characters).
Entry fee is 30 US $.
Entry fees should be paid by credit card or PayPal only. We do not accept checks, Western Union Money Transfer, debit cards, or wire transfers.
After online payment is made, you will be able to upload images using your profile page.
Entry fees will be used for the winners’ prize fund – 6000 USD.
The winners in the first three categories will get 1500-1500 USD each. As for the Best Single image winner will get 1000 USD, Mobile Photo – one shot category winner will get 500 USD.
Participants in the following nominations: Documentary, Reportage, Conceptual, Single image should note the following rules: Image length should be 3500 pixels. Save your image file as JPEG with maximum quality.
As for Mobile Photo – One Shot nomination the participants should upload photos at least 1500 pixels wide.
For the following nominations: Documentary, Reportage, Conceptual and Single image we accept photos taken using any type of camera, including mobile photos. As for Mobile Photo nomination the participants should upload photos taken using any type of mobile or tablet.
Copyright remains with the author. Chosen photos will be published in a Photo Week annual online catalogue. The photos might be featured in Kolga Tbilisi Photo advertising campaign and printed media. All the shortlisted projects will be kept on our web-page.
The names of the winners will be revealed by the international jury members:

The jury members will pick out the best photo projects and reveal the winners in each category. After choosing the best photos the decision will be reflected in the authors' profiles and they will be notified via e-mail as well before April 5, 2023. The names of the winners in announced categories will be revealed on May 4, 2023. They will be notified via e-mail and prize money will be transferred to their bank accounts.
