Kiama Municipality Faces in the Street Photography Competition
During History Week 2010 Kiama Library is having a Photography competition and Exhibition of the results.Enter the Kiama Library Photography competition with a RECENT photo of someone in your local community.
The theme is Faces in the Street. It may be someone prominent or important to the Kiama Municipality, someone you see every day or a local identity or character. Photograph your subject in context. It may be in their garden, in their shop, on the farm, riding a bike, walking their dog, in the workplace or doing something they love.
Photos will be selected from competition entries to be exhibited at the Old Fire Station, Terralong St, Kiama from Tuesday 7th to Sunday 12th September.
The competition will be judged by representatives from the Kiama-Shellharbour Photo Club and Kiama Council. Entries close 16th August 2010.
There will be prizes for all winning entries in each category including
* 5 to 12 year olds
* 13 to 18 year olds
* Open
You will be able to get your photo developed at Manning Street Photo House, Kiama for $1.95 per photo.

By submitting the photograph to the Kiama Library Faces in the Street Photographic Competition and Exhibition, the copyright owner gives Kiama Library permission to reproduce, communicate and display the work in public.
