The second KAAF photo contest

The introduction and aims:
The Kaaf contest aims to support young persons and new and creative perspectives in field of Iranian photography as well as creating a competitive space to increase motivation among young persons.

Kaaf contest 2022 hold on three sections: “social documentary photography”, “street photography” and “creative photography” that all photographers can involve in three sections of contest and send us the best your photos.
after reviewing the received photos in term of follows the rules and regulations and judging in first stage, Selects 32 photos from all sections to advance to second stage. 32 photographers will compete in 3 rounds and each photos receiving a score between 0-10 in each set. At the end, all scores will be collected and the photos that received maximum scores in each section will be introduce as the final winners in the contest.

rules and regulations:
– Participation in kaaf contest is free for all photographers and valuable for us.
_ all photographers can participate in each three sections of the contest (as social documentary photography, street photography and creative photography). The subject is free and priority is given to new and creative perspectives.
– The organizer is allowed to publish the photos by mentioning the name of the photographer.
– According to the organizer view, the sender of the photos is known as the owner of the photos and responsible for any legal and moral issues arising from this.
– The insertion of any text, address or logo in the photos is prohibited and if viewed, the photo will be removed from the judging process.
_ Decisions on unforeseen matters are the responsibility of the Secretariat.
_ Participation and submission of works constitutes acceptance of all rules and regulations of this contest.
– The Secretariat does not consider any restrictions on photography tools (as cameras, mobile phones, etc.); But the quality of the photos must be acceptable and desirable.
– The size of the submitted photos to participate in the contest is up to 3 MB in JPEG / JPG format. (It is recommended to set the large side of the photo to 2000 pixels)
_ There is no limit on the number of photos submitted, but each photographer in each section can send only one photo freely (a total of 3 photos) and for each extra photo, the amount of 50,000 Tomans will be received; In order to support the youth, those under the age of 25 can send 2 photos in each section freely.
– In the “Social Documentary” section, editing photos is allowed only in the setting of light, color and crop.
– In the “Creative Photography” section, any editing in the photo is allowed, and in photomontage photos, all the components added and combined in the photo must be recorded by the photographer’s.

Announcing the people’s who reach to the second stage: 21 September 2022
Announcing the contest winners: 22 October 2022

Contest Prizes:
The winners of this competition will be awarded a total of nine million tomans, three special badge of the Kaaf contest and nine honorable mention.
First one in each section (street photography, social documentary and creative photo) reach to three million tomans, special badge and honorable mention. second and third person in each section of the contest will be awarded a honorable mention.
