International Fine Art Photography Competition

150x60_Icon_GPD__Rev-2_Final The International Fine Art Photography Competition (Grand Prix de la Découverte) has a clear mission- to discover new talent and provide recognition to emerging and mid-career photographers. Photographers from around the world (18 years or older) are invited to submit their work in color or black and white.

A photographer may submit up to 15 images online through the website. Images may be entered in any of the following seven categories:

People/Portraits
Landscape/Seascape/Nature
Cityscape/Architecture
Street Photography/Documentary
Still Life
Abstract
Experimental

Contest Prize & TERMS

PRIZE DETAILS: Winners in each of the seven categories will receive:

1st Place:
- $2,000 cash award
- travel to Paris for the November exhibit and awards ceremony
- publication in aCurator Magazine and blog

2nd Place:
- $1,000 cash award
- publication in aCurator Magazine and blog

3rd Place:
- $500 cash award
- publication in aCurator Magazine and blog

Images selected as finalists by the jury will be:
- Exhibited during the Paris Grand Month of Photography in November 2013.
- Accepted into the prestigious collection of The Bibliothèque Nationale de France.

COPYRIGHT: Photographers retain all copyrights to their work. USAGE RIGHTS: By entering the Competition, entrants grant the International Fine Art Photography Competition royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide rights to reproduce submitted photos for promotional and exhibition purposes for up to two years, including, but not limited to:

publication in aCurator Magazine and blog,
publication in the online gallery of the International Fine Art Photography website,
press releases promoting the Competition

All submissions will be credited when reproduced. Should any usages beyond those needed to promote the competition arise, a license will be negotiated with the creator independently of the competition. Entrants' moral rights are respected.

Images displayed in the exhibition will be credited to the photographer.
