Welcome to 2011 Edition of International Nature Photography Competition.Prizes for a value of €10.000 divided in 8 categories. The overall winner will receive an ulterior award of € 2.000 including the fees for the participation to award ceremony.
For each category there will be a winner, a second and a third place. They will receive an award in photography equipment and a copy of the exhibition book; more over for each category there will be 7 commended images that will have the exhibition book as well. The winners and the authors of the commended images will be invited at the prize ceremony.

Categories:
• A – Landscape
Entries must show scenes that are truly wild and awesome. They should convey a sense of wonder and wildness.
• B – The underwater world
Images must feature marine or freshwater life
• C – Mammals
• D – Birds
• E – Other animals
C – D – E Images must show memorable, unusual or striking behaviour. Portraits should capture the character or spirit of the subject and focus on it. The key here is striking originality.
• F – Plants and fungi
This is the category for pictures that highlight the beauty, diversity and importance of all forms of plant life.
• G – Composition and forms
Pictures in this category must illustrate natural subjects in abstract ways, and will be judged for their aesthetic values)
• H – The theme of the year: “ From dusk to dawn”
Pictures must have been taken between sunset and sunrise (the sun may be on but not above the horizon) and must feature animals.
