Insight Guides travel photography competition
Do you have an eye for what makes the perfect travel photo? The Independent on Sunday/ Insight Guides 2012 travel-photography competition is your chance to prove it. Readers can take a picture of absolutely any travel destination. The only brief they have is to capture the essence of the place and to submit three outstanding, top-quality colour images (of one destination or more), either digitally or in print.
Contest Prize & TERMS
PRIZE DETAILS:
First prize: A travel photography commission from Insight Guides (worth £3,000) plus an Olympus PEN Lite(E-PL3) kit (RRP £550). .
Second prize: Olympus E-PM1 kit (RRP £450).
Third prize: Olympus XZ-1 (RRP £400).
Adult winners and a companion will be given dinner and an overnight stay plus breakfast at the Corinthia Hotel.
The under-18 prize: an Olympus Tough camera TG-820 (RRP: £270). ELIGIBILITY: Resident in the UK Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.
COPYRIGHT: Entrants must own the copyright in all entries and by entering this competition entrants warrant that their entries do not infringe the rights of any third party USAGE RIGHTS: By entering this competition entrants agree that should they win or be a runner-up they are deemed to have agreed to grant to IPL and the Publisher (APA Publications) a non-exclusive licence to publish the winning entries online and in print and to syndicate the work;
For the avoidance of doubt, entrants agree that the Publisher and IPL shall have the right, but not the obligation, to exhibit and reproduce, and authorise others to reproduce, the winning entries for all publicity and promotional purposes connected to the competition, including exhibitions and calendars;
The Publisher and IPL shall try to ensure that all material used is credited with the entrant’s name
