IGPOTY – Black & White 15
IGPOTY (International Garden Photographer of the Year) is one of the world’s most respected photography competitions and touring exhibitions. It is a premier competition within the garden, plant and botanical genre. Supported by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (but not owned by them) the exhibition normally launches at Kew Gardens each February.
IGPOTY runs photo projects throughout the year which are stand-alone competitions – to test certain photographic skills within the genre.
The first of the year is the classic ‘Black & White’.

For avoidance of doubt only awarded images will be promoted/publicised. Use of awarded photographs and photographer names and any associated data, text or metadata is permitted by International Garden Photographer of the Year, or any of its partners, sponsors or exhibition hosts only to promote the competition and to show exhibitions. (Note that a book, posters, cards, or a calendar are seen as legitimate ways of promoting the contest and defraying costs).
